Project Update - Week of March 4th, 2024

Please see the below project update and list of activities scheduled for the week of March 4th, 2024

• The general trades contractor will continue installation of level 2 doors and hardware. 
• The general trades contractor will continue metal framing and drywall install of the Stair C, D, & A closure walls. 
• The resilient flooring contractor will continue flooring installation of the level 1 area D classrooms. 
• The resilient flooring contractor will commence the level 2 area D corridor flooring. 
• The painting contractor will continue painting the level 1 admin area, lobby, and cafeteria. 
• The painting contractor will continue final painting of the level 2 area C classrooms. 
• The ceiling contractor will continue ceiling grid installation on level 1 admin area, media center, cafeteria, and lobby.
• The ceiling contractor will continue coordinating with the MEP trade partners for ceiling tile device installation on level 1 and 2.
• The millwork and casework contractor will continue level 1 area D classroom, corridor, and media center casework installation.
• The millwork and casework contractor will continue level 1 area a Admin Area caswork installation. 
• The metal windows contractor will continue installation of the interior storefronts in the Media Center and Admin area. 
• The plumbing contractor will continue with level 2 classroom and bathroom sink installation.
• The plumbing contractor will commence level 1 classroom sink installation. 
• The plumbing contractor will continue final plumbing connections in the Mechanical Room. 
• The plumbing and mechanical contractor will continue installing valve tags on level 2. 
• The mechanical contractor will continue ceiling diffuser installation on level 1. 
• The mechanical contractor will continue installing the cafeteria wall diffusers. 
• The electrical contractor will continue installation and wiring of level 1 admin area, media center, and cafeteria light fixtures. 
• The electrical contractor will continue fire alarm finish installation on level 1.
• The electrical contractor will continue making final electrical wiringing connections in the main electric room. 
• The fire protection contractor will continue setting fire protection heads into completed ceilings on level 1 and Media Center.  
• The tile contractor will continue level 1 corridor and admin area tile.
• The tile contractor will continue level 1 group bathroom floor and wall tile. 
• The specialties contractor will continue markerboard and tack board installation in the level 2 and level 1 classrooms.
