Project Update - Week of June 3rd, 2024

Please see the below project update and list of activities scheduled for the week of June 3rd, 2024.

• The site contractor will prepare for the existing Florence Roche utility disconnection. 
• The landscape contractor will continue spreading of loam, layout of trees and shrubs, and finalize irrigiation system install. 
• The landscape contractor will continue hydroseading of the project's lawn areas around the building. 
• The landscape contractor will continue installation of the kindergarten playground, curbs, and poured-in-place surface. 
• The misc. metals contractor will continue the installation of the exterior loading dock rails and front retaining wall railing. 
• The resilient flooring contractor will continue final setting of transition strips. 
• The painting contractor will continue final patching and painting of level 1.
• The millwork and casework contractor will continue installation of the stair B and platform stair treads and media center seating & desks. 
• The specialties contractor will commence admin accoustic panel install. 
• The wood flooring contractor will complete the stage flooring and commence the stair B platform flooring. 
• The plumbing contractor will be setting hot water valves at all sinks and continue the commissioning process. 
• The mechanical contractor will continue with equipment commissioning all all equipment. 
• The mechanical contractor will continue balancing the supply and return air system.
• The controls contractor will continue integrating equipment into the building management system.
• The controls contractor will commense building commissioning effort with the MSBA third party commissioning agent. 
• The fire protection contractor will continue setting fire protection heads into completed ceilings on level 1. 
• The fire protection contractor will continue sprinkler head install in the stem patio ceiling. 
• The electrical contractor will continue stem patio light installation. 
• The electrical contractor will continue security system programming. 
• The third party commissioning agent will continue review of all MEP systems.  
• The tile contractor will continue installation of the cafeteria and main vestibule wall tile. 
• The carpet contractor will continue carpet installation in the vestibules.
