Please see the below project update and list of activities scheduled for the week of November 21st 2022. 

• The site contractor will continue with installation of foundation insulation and backfill of foundation walls in Area B of the building.
• The site contractor shall continue with backfilling to subgrade in Area A, and continue with excavation and sub-grade prep for UG Plumbing in this area.
• The site contractor shall continue and complete the installation of drainage infiltration system #3 and associated drainage structures.  This work has been communicated and coordinated with the District accordingly.  
• The plumbing enabling contractor shall continue with lay-out and installation of UG Plumbing in Area A of the building.
• Groton Electric Light Department is tentatively scheduled to commence the pulling of their primary cable from the new utility poles adjacent to Champney Street to the new transformer pad location on Monday 11/21.  Team is awaiting confirmation from GELD on this schedule.
• Due to the Thanksgiving holiday no work will occur on the project site Thursday 11/24 and Friday 11/25.  Happy Thanksgiving!

• The site contractor will continue with installation of foundation insulation and backfill of foundation walls in Area B of the building.
• The site contractor shall continue with backfilling to subgrade in Area A, and continue with excavation and sub-grade prep for UG Plumbing in this area.
• The site contractor shall commence with the excavation and installation of drainage infiltration system #3 and associated drainage structures on Monday 11/14.  This work has been communicated and coordinated with the District accordingly.  
• The balance of the drainage infilitration systems are scheduled to be delivered to the project site for storage on Tuesday 11/15.    
• The concrete contractor will continue and complete clean-up and demobilization efforts this week.
• The plumbing enabling contractor shall continue with lay-out and installation of UG Plumbing in Area A of the building.
• Groton Electric Light Department is tentatively scheduled to commence the pulling of their primary cable from the new utility poles adjacent to Champney Street to the new transformer pad location on Monday 11/14.  Team is awaiting confirmation from GELD on this schedule.  

The project will be working on the site this Saturday 11/5/22.  Activities will consist of the following: 

• The site contractor shall be prepping and raking the loam at the perimeter of the long jump areas and placing the hydroseed.    

This weekend work schedule has been communicated and coordinated with the Town Manager's Office.

• The site contractor will continue with installation of foundation insulation and backfill of foundation walls in Area B of the building.
• The site contractor shall continue with backfilling to subgrade in Area A, and commence with excavation and sub-grade prep for UG Plumbing in this area.
• Due to the recent rain events the fine grading and paving for the fire access roadway around the perimeter of the new building was rescheduled to be completed on Monday 11/7.   
• The site contractor shall continue with excavation and subgrade prep of the electrical hand holes around the perimeter of the site to support the future site lighting.
• The concrete contractor will continue with clean-up and demobilization efforts this week.
• The plumbing enabling contractor shall commence with lay-out and installation of UG Plumbing in Area A of the building.
• The electrical enabling contractor shall continue with the electrical ductbank installation from the BESS vault location to the building and continue with the installation of conduit and electrical hand holes around the perimeter of the site to support the future site lighting.
• Groton Electric Light Department is tentatively scheduled to commence the pulling of their primary cable from the new utility poles adjacent to Champney Street to the new transformer pad location on Monday 11/7.  
• Due to the holiday on Friday 11/11 there will not be any work activities on the project site.  

The project will be working on the site this Saturday 10/29/22.  Activities will consist of the following: 

• The site contractor will be completing general clean-up and placing remaining loam materials around the long jump areas and misc landscape areas at the perimeter of the track.  
• The site contractor shall be installing drainage elements at the West perimeter/edge of the athletic field.    

This weekend work schedule has been communicated and coordinated with the Town Manager's Office.
