Please see the below project update and list of activities scheduled for the week of 9/5.  

• The fencing contractor will commence with the fence installation on the West side of the new track and field. 
• The electrical contractor will continue with the electrical work to support power to the new athletic field shed location.
• The site contractor shall commence prepping and raking out the atheltic field loam in preparation for Sod materials to be delivered the week of 9/12.
• The track surfacing contractor is scheduled to mobilize to the project site on Tuesday 9/6 and commence their pre-work inspection of the track surface.
• The electrical and site contractors will continue the electrical ductbank installation towards the BESS system pad. 
• The site contractor will continue various grading activities around the site.
• The site contractor shall continue with foundation insulation installation and back-filling activities in Areas C & D. 
• The concrete contractor will continue and complete foundation construction for the classroom wings in Areas C & D. 
• The site contractor will continue to excavate for foundations in Areas A & B. 
• The contractor shall commence with the construction of footings in Area A.
• The concrete contractor is scheduled to receive a rebar delivery for Area A on Wednesday 9/7 and Anchor Bolts for Area A on Friday 9/9.  
• Concrete placements are tentatively scheduled for Wednesday 9/7 and Friday 9/9.
• Due to the Labor Day holiday on Monday 9/5 there will not be any work activities onsite.

• Exporting excess materials from the site shall continue this week.   
• Complete the construction of the long jump pits at the new track area. 
• Commence the installation of the irrigation system in the new athletic field.
• Continue with site restoration and re-establishment of the temporary construction fence line shall continue this week adjacent to the Middle School South building.   
• The site and electrical contractor shall continue with the construction of the underground electrical & communications ductbank working South on the site towards Champney Street. 
• The site contractor shall continue with excavation and subgrade prep for concrete foundations in Area A of the building.      
• The site contractor shall continue importing and placing structural fill materials in Area B of the new building. 
• The concrete contractor shall continue construction of foundation formwork in Area C  and commence in Area A of the new building.  Foundation wall construction shall commence in Area D of the new building.  Concrete placements are tentatively scheduled for Wednesday 8/24 and Friday 8/26 this week.  

The project has a street sweeper scheduled for Saturday 8/20 to sweep around the perimeter of the existing Florence Roche Elementary and Middle School South buildings where the underground utility work was completed this summer.

• Exporting excess materials from the site shall continue this week.   
• The site contractor shall continue placing the loam materials beneath the new athletic field.
• The site contractor shall place the top coat of asphalt at the new Athletic Track area on Thursday 8/18. 
• Prep and placement of the concrete track game pads shall continue this week.
• Continue with site clean-up and subgrade prep to support asphalt placement at the utility trenches next week.  Asphalt placement is scheduled for Thursday 8/18 and Friday 8/19.  Site restoration and re-establishment of the temporary construction fence line shall commence this week adjacent to the Middle School South building.   
• The site and electrical contractor shall continue with the construction of the underground electrical & communications ductbank work located in the utility corridor and continue towards Champney Street.        
• The site contractor shall continue importing and placing structural fill materials in Areas A & B of the new building. 
• The concrete contractor is scheduled to mobilize on Monday 8/15 and commence lay-out and construction of foundation formwork in Areas C & D of the new building.  The first concrete placement is tentatively scheduled for Thursday 8/18.  
• The project is scheduled to receive a series of reinforcing steel deliveries on Tuesday 8/16 and Thursday 8/18 of this week to support foundation construction.     

The project will be working on the site this Saturday 8/13/22.  Activities will consist of the following: 

• The site contractor shall continue with spreading the loam material at the new athletic field area.
• Excavation and sub-grade prep to support the installation of underground electrical conduit shall continue along the South elevation of the new athletic track area.   
• The site contractor will be continuing with subgrade prep on the utility trenches at the perimeter of the Middle School South building in preparation for paving these trenches the week of 8/15.

This weekend work schedule has been communicated and coordinated with the Town Manager's Office.
