Project Update - Week of April 17th 2023 Please see the below project update and list of activities scheduled for the week of April 17th 2023 Tripp McElroy III / Monday, April 17, 2023 0 218 Article rating: No rating The site contractor will complete placing and compacting gravel for the entrance road way. Fine grading and paving of this roadway is scheduled to occur Tuesday 4/18 through Friday 4/21 while the District is on Spring Break. The site contractor will install the remaining drain line that is located in the existing bus loop at the perimeter of the existing Florence Roche building. This work will be installed and paved while the District is on Spring Break. This work has been communicated and coordinated with the District. The site contractor will continue with the excavation and sub-grade prep for the remaining UG plumbing and UG electrical in Area B of the building. The general trades contractor shall continue with the lay-out and installation of roof blocking at mechanical equipment and penetration locations on Areas A & B of the building. The general trades contractor will continue layout and framing of exterior walls on the 2nd level of Areas C & D. This activity shall commence on the 1st level of Areas C & D this week. The concrete contractor is scheduled to place the slabs on grade for Area C on Tuesday 4/18 and Area D on Friday 4/21. The mechanical contractor will continue with the lay-out of duct hangers on the second level of Areas C & D of the building. The plumbing contractor will continue with the installation of roof drain bodies on Areas A & B of the building and UG plumbing in Area B of the building. The roofing contractor shall continue with the installation of roof dense deck and AVB on Areas A & B of the building. The electrical contractor shall continue with the installation of temp power and lighting provisions on the second level of Areas C & D of the building. The masonry contractor shall commence construction of the CMU elevator shaft. The waterproofing contractor shall continue the waterproofing membrane installation at the top of the foundation walls in Area D. Read more

The site contractor will continue preperation of the classroom wing slab on grade. The general trades contractor shall continue with the lay-out and installation of roof blocking at mechanical equipment and penetration locations. The concrete contractor will prepare to place the slab on deck for Level 2 Area A & B. The general trades contractor will continue layout and framing of exterior walls on the 2nd level classroom wings. The mechanical contractor will continue with the lay-out of duct hangers on the second level of Area C of the building. The plumbing contractor will continue with the installation of roof drain bodies on Areas A & B of the building. The plumbing contractor will continue with the installation of UG plumbing in Area B of the building. Paving of this area is scheduled for the week of 4/17 while the District is on Spring Break. The site contractor shall commence with the excavation and sub-grade prep for the remaining UG plumbing in Area B of the building. The general trades contractor shall continue with the lay-out and installation of roof blocking at mechanical equipment and penetration locations. The general trades contractor will continue framing activities including knee walls on the roof levels. The mechanical contractor shall commence with the lay-out of duct hangers on the second level of Area C of the building. The plumbing contractor shall continue with the installation of roof drain bodies on Areas A & B of the building. The plumbing contractor shall commence with the installation of UG plumbing in Area B of the building. The roofing contractor shall continue with the installation of roof dense deck and AVB on the roof level of Areas C & D. The electrical contractor shall commence with the installation of temp power and lighting provisions on the second level of Area C of the building. The concrete contractor is scheduled to place the slab on deck in Area D on Monday 4/3. Concrete deliveries for this placement is scheduled to commence at 9AM after the campus drop-off period has completed for the morning. Due to the concrete finishing effort associated with these activities the work may require an extended day to complete the placement. The general trades contractor will continue framing activities including knee walls on the roof levels and beam infills at Areas C & D. The mechanical contractor shall continue the lay-out and install of equipment sleepers and penetration sleeves on the roof levels of Areas A & B. The plumbing contractor shall continue the installation of roof drain bodies on Areas C, D & A of the building. The roofing contractor is scheduled to commence with the installation of roof dense deck and AVB on the roof level of Area C. The concrete contractor is scheduled to place the slabs on deck in Areas C on Wednesday 3/29 and Area D on Friday 3/31. Concrete deliveries for both of these placements are scheduled to commence at 9AM after the campus drop-off period has completed for the morning. Due to the concrete finishing effort associated with these activities the work may require an extended day to complete the placement. The general trades contractor will continue framing activities including knee walls on the roof levels and exterior top track on the perimeter of Areas C & A. The concrete contractor shall commence preparation of the slab on deck and installation of rebar and welded wire mesh at the roof-top unit concrete pads on Areas C, D & A of the building. The placement of these concrete pads are tentatively scheduled for Wednesday 3/22. The mechanical contractor shall commence the lay-out and install of equipment sleepers and penetration sleeves on the roof levels of Areas C & D. The plumbing contractor shall commence the installation of roof drain bodies on the roof levels of Areas C & D of the building. The roofing contractor is scheduled to mobilize and deliver to the project site a partial order of roofing materials for Areas C & D of the building on Friday 3/24. Read more
